Biography

Eli Henderson[1] Hinson was born in 1824 in what later became Union County, North Carolina.[2] Union County was formed from Anson and Mecklenburg Counties in 1842.[3]

Eli died on 21 October 1916 in Clear Creek township, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina[2]

Eli Henderson Hinson founded Arlington Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is buried in the cemetery there.[4]
