Jettie Hinton was born on January 29, 1880 in Hunt, Texas, United States, daughter of James Henry Polk Hinton (1832–1913) and Christian Elizabeth Scott (1842–1889).[1]

Jettie (17) married Walter Leonard Casteel (26) (born on November 17, 1871 in Hunt, Texas; son of Shadrack Monroe Casteel and Alice Keller (Ragland) Casteel) about 1898 in Texas.
In 1910, Jettie (30) Custeel was in the household of Walter L Custeel in Justice Precinct 4, Dimmit, Texas. [3]
In 1920, Jettae and W J Casteel were living in Jackson, Oklahoma. [4]
In 1930, Jettie (50) was living in Martha, Jackson, Oklahoma. [5]
In 1940, Jettie (60) was living in Quartz Township, Greer, Oklahoma, [6]
Jettie died on January 15, 1948 in Jackson, Oklahoma, aged 67. She was buried in Blair Cemetery, Blair, Jackson County, Oklahoma.[1]
