James was also known as Capt. James Seaton. Karen is correct. I re-checked my source and found I had picked up a tracking number as a suffix. I have made the change to his name. All help is appreciated as the Seaton's have been a pain to trace as there is a lot of missing and conflicting information regarding them.

Hi, I am Dorothy, a WikiTree mentor!! Are you enjoying your time on WikiTree so far?

Now that you have had a little time to try our site, there are a few more features you may find useful:

For instance, ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards; including some tips on writing biographies

Also a friendly reminder about adding sources and references to your profile. Sources are critically important for genealogy and you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from. This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Karen,

Thank you for volunteering! You are now a confirmed member of the WikiTree community. As you add family profiles, use the green tabs near the top of each profile to see what info will be visible to others - just toggle between private and public views. If you need help, ask a question in our G2G forum. Most WikiTree members, including myself, are eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist. If you need additional help using WikiTree, our Mentors Project is a great group of volunteers who will be glad to assist you. Don’t forget to check out our Question of the week: Any tidbits of information you've discovered to pass down to the next generation?

Hi Karen,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email you receive from WikiTree will contain links to help you get started. We hope you will take time to browse the site and check us out.

WikiTree is FREE, and different from other genealogical sites. Our goal is to have one Profile per person, which means we collaborate as a team.

If you would like to join us, add your own family, share research, and collaborate with others, simply confirm your email address, fill out the TAGS on your Profile page, click SAVE TAGS, and VOLUNTEER. (information on Tags can be found at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags). Once you opt to Volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership.

Hope you decide to join us!
