Note:

When citing sources try to give enough information that others can find that source regardless of the method used to find it or reference an image in the photo section. Where there is a known Wiki ID for a person named in this section try to provide a link to that person. List contributors, with links (if possible), in "Acknowledgments".
Using an asterisk before adding information will maintain the events in a bullet format. Double asterisks will indent related events. A colon (:) will indent text (such as in this “Note” section). Double colons will double indent text. The first time you use a citation, use <ref name="nametag"> Descriptive Text</ref> where "nametag" is what you want to use for the name of the tag & "Descriptive Text" is your source citation. From then on use <ref name="nametag"/> to cite that citation as many times as needed. This will automatically add to the "Source List".
If you are adding information I would appreciate your following these guidelines. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Gary H White

Biography

Jane "Jincy" Hise was born in 1792 in Tennessee, USA to Jacob William Hise Sr (1752-1820) and Jenny "Jincy" Seaton ( - 1846). [1] Note: I have found her name listed as Jane Jincy and Jincy Jane. I am not sure if Jincy was a nickname or middle name. Therefore I show it as a middle name. She had at least six brothers & sisters:
1. James Hise, b. 1776, d. Est. 1777-1866.
2. Jacob Hise, b. 1779, d. Est. 1780-1869.

4. Betsy Hise, b. Abt. 1789, d. Est. 1790-1883.

6. Lavina Hise, b. Est. 1773-1802, d. Est. 1778-1883.
Jincy passed away about 1872 in Shotwell, Franklin, Missouri, USA. (Some have Maries Co., MO) I have found no definitive death information.

Profile Managers: Do I have this right: Jacob Hise Sr and wife Jenny Jincy SEATON had a daughter named Jane "Jincy" HISE that then married a James SEATON? What is the relationship between the son-in-law James SEATON and the mtr-in-law Jenny Jincy SEATON? My head is going in circles! I'm a descendant of James SEATON and Jincy Jane HISE. I've started tracking the Seatons and Hises with DNA painter.
