Jason Hitchcock is the son of Matthais Hitchcock and Thankful (Andrews) Hitchcock.

On September 20, 1743, Jason married Lydia Cook, (March 2, 1726 - December 30, 1753)

Children of Jason and Lydia are:

  • William Hitchcock, born June 26, 1744, died young
  • Thomas Hitchcock, born December 20, 1746, married Hannah Moss
  • Lemuel Hitchcock, born December 20, 1749, married Mamre Hotchkiss
  • Jason Hitchcock, born July 12, 1752, died young

His first wife died September 20, 1753. On October 3, 1754, Jason married Thankful Andrews.

Children of Jason and Thankful are:

  • Jason Hitchcock, born October 10, 1755, died young
  • Ichabod Hitchcock, born December 18, 1756, married Lydia Cook
  • Levi Hitchcock, born 1758-1760, married Mary Andrews
  • Thankful Hitchcock, born March 20, 1761, married Josiah Smith, on January 20, 1779
  • Jason Hitchcock (third child named Jason in the family, the first two dying before his birth) born November 11, 1764
