Rebecca Rice Hix was born 4 October 1816 near Shelbyville, in Bedford County, Tennessee. She was a daughter of William Hix and Sarah Collins. Rebecca Hix married Charles Thomas Philpott at Bedford County, Tennessee. She died 14 August 1905.[1]
Rebecca probably died in Bedford County as she is buried at Hart Chapel Cemetery, Bedford County, Tennessee.
