Stephen Hoag was born on 11 August 1798 in New York to Solomon Hoag and Jane Cushing. He married Julia Ann Van Wagner. Stephen died on 29 November 1873 in Smithville Flats, Chenango County, New York, USA, and was buried in the Smithville Flats Cemetery.[1]
Stephen appears in the 1865[2], and 1855[3] New York State Census, and in 1850[4] United States Federal Census.
