Private Amos Hoagland served with 2nd Regiment, Hunterdon Militia, New Jersey Militia during the American Revolution.

Amos Hoagland is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A055771.

Amos was born 21 Aug 1741. He was the son of Derrick Hoogland and Mary Van Kirk. He passed away 6 June 1807 in Reaville, Raritan Twp. Hunterdon, NJ.[1]

Exact dates and same parents

Hi Karolyn, this import is a total mess. Can you please clean it up to what it is suuposed to be, if you know?

The parents both need you to Open their privacy setting. You can just put in a birth date to do it automatically.

This Amos looks like you might have intended him to be your most recent ancestor.

But otherwise, these siblings are all muliple generations mushed together, so I would avoid copying anything more from that bogus Ancestry tree.
