Hello, I only suggested the merge of the pages of Robert and Bridget because they are obviously of the same person. I can see that the information on the other pages is sparse and incorrect in places but I thought a merge might allow you to clean that up. Otherwise some family trees head to one Robert/Bridget page and some to another. It would be great to even get the children of Robert sorted on the other page! ;-)

Hey Beverley,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Questions? Ask via my profile page. Mags

Hello Beverley,

How are you doing? Hope you're enjoying our site.

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide.

Also Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course, I'm here to help in any way I’m able. Just ask!

Hobbs-2220 and Hobbs-2149 appear to represent the same person because: Hello, trying to merge you with my listed version of you (which is really just your name) to be listed as Dad's sister. Otherwise you can request to be "trusted" with Bruce E Hobbs and you can then do the link yourself.

Hi Beverley,

Thanks for volunteering to help grow our one world tree.

Please drop into our friendly Genealogist to Genealogist (G2G) forum to introduce yourself to other WikiTreers - you can access the G2G by selecting G2G Profile from your My WikiTree menu at the top right of most pages.

WikiTree can be a bit overwhelming at first, so don't hesitate to post your questions in the G2G.

Good luck with connecting your leaves and branches to our big tree,

Maryann

I offer to volunteer to add more information to the descendants of Robert Hobbs and Bridget Eslin/Heslin. I am a direct descendant through their son Joseph Hobbs and Elizabeth Douglass.
Hi Beverley,

Welcome! As a guest you are encouraged to explore. Our Help pages (upper right) are full of valuable information. The Help Index, Intro to WikiTree, and our G2G forum will answer a lot of your questions. And please, don't hesitate to ask your own questions in G2G. Please read our Honor Code, it's what we're all about. If English is not your first language, here is a link to WikiTree Language Volunteers.

If you would like to join us in our effort to grow a FREE Worldwide Family Tree, click the volunteer button and leave a message to that effect.

Have Fun!
