Charles Hockey is an Anzac who served in World War One.

Biography

Charles was born in 1891. He was the son of Henry Hockey and Georgina Mudford.

When the 1st World War broke out, Charles was working as a Bushman. He enlisted and served as a Rifleman in the 6th Reinforcements 1st Battalion, E Company - New Zealand Rifle Brigade

Charles died on 8 March 1918 in France as a result of becoming ill in the trenches. He was 27 years of age.[1][2]
