Biography

Edgar was born on the 24th March 1874 based on the 1939 National Register, and his birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1874 in the Camberwell district, Surrey.[1]

Edgar, son of William Henry Hockey and Rhoda Elizabeth Hockey, was baptised on the 7th June 1874 in St Stephen's Church, Walworth, Southwark, England.[2]

In the 1881 census Edgar (age 7), Scholar, was the son of William H Hockey at 168 Camberwell New Road, Lambeth, London & Surrey, England.[3]
