Just wanted to say Hi! I'm also Walter John Hoddinott! I currently live in Texas but I was born in Hartford CT in 1955. My father and grandfather were also Walters! One thing I found amusing was the fact that your Walter was Navy! I was also career Navy! To whomever reads this, I wish you well!
