Biography
Una was killed in an accident on the Grenfell road whilst her mother and sister were driving towards Forbes in a sulky, the horse shied and ran the vehicle against a stump and cap sized, throwing the occupants out. Mrs. Hodge was nursing the child at the time, and was herself severely bruised, but noticing Una's neck was injured, took her to a house on the road, where she was given a hot bath, and all haste made to reach Forbes quickly and obtain medical aid. On arriving in Forbes it was found that the little one's neck was broken.
