Biography

William Hodge was born about 1740, probably in Pennsylvania. His parents were John Hodge and Agnes Unknown.

He married Mary Elliot.[1] Together they had 12 children:

  4. Nancy Hodge
  5. Robert Hodge
  6. William Hodge
  7. John Hodge
  8. James Hodge
  9. Francis Hodge
  10. Elliott Hodge

The family moved from Pennsylvania to Georgia (via Maryland[2] and South Carolina) in the late 1780's.[3][1][4]

William died in 1794 in Elbert County, Georgia.[5]
