Elizabeth was baptised 25 Feb 1787, the daughter of Richard Hodge and Mary James. On 25 Feb 1813 a marriage settlement with an annuity of thirty pounds out of a tenement Rosepletha in St levan and a dwelling house and garden in St Buryan previous to the marriage of William Osborn and Elizabeth Hodge. Between Thomas Osborn of St Buryan yeoman, his son William, Elizabeth Hodge spinster of St Levan and Richard Hodge of St Levan gentleman. Elizabeth Hodge married William Osborne on 2 March 1813 by licence at St Levan, witnessed by Richard Hodge and Jane Trevenen, and they had seven children over the next twelve years. Elizabeth of St.Buryan died on 4 September 1824 at St.Levan, following the birth of their last child, John.
