Moses was born in 1860. He was the son of John Hodge and Camilla Kluttz. Moses abandoned his wife and children after about ten years of marriage, claiming to be widowed and transient in the 1900 census. His wife did not claim to be divorced until the 1920 census. He passed away in 1934.
