Biography

Allan Leslie Hodge was born on 13 March 1926 in New Plymouth, New Zealand. [1] to William Hodge and Alice Ounsworth.

He was living in 1949 in Mercer working as a Railway Employee[2] before being moved that year to Mataroa as a Station Agent[3].

He Married Jean French on 8 July 1950 at St Davids church, Auckland[4] had five children with her

The family lived in Taihape[5] then Wellington [6].

He was living in 1954 in Ngaio, Wellington working as a Shunter[7].

He was living in 1957 in Ngaio, Wellington recorded working for the NZR (New Zealand Railways)[8]

He was living in 1963 in Ngaio, Wellington working as a Guard for the NZR[9] and was there in 1969[10] and 1972[11].

He divorced Jean French between 1977-1978[12] with the divorce recorded in Auckland.

He was living in 1978 in Berhampore, Wellington working as a NZR employee[13].

He was living in 1981 in Tawa, Porirua working as a Labourer[14].

He died on 9 October 2006 in Auckland, New Zealand[15].

He was cremated at Manukau Memorial Gardens on 10 October 2006[16].
