Biography
When Helen Louise Hodges was born on June 20, 1909, in Kinston, North Carolina, her father, Horace, was 32, and her mother, Julia, was 25. She married Kenneth Raynor Jones on August 10, 1936, in Orange, North Carolina. They had two children during their marriage. She died on May 31, 1960, in New Bern, North Carolina, at the age of 50, and was buried there.
