Frederick married Mary A "Polly" Hawkins on 6 Jun 1815 in Halifax Co, VA.[1]
A reported list of their children includes the following, but some need further verification:
Jane (Hodges) Durham (1816-1884) - confident
Thomas A Hodges (1817-1893) - probably, but not certain
Elijah Hodges - but which one?
John Alfred Hodges (1825-1904)
Samuel Hodges (1826-?; FS 97PJ-F6G) m Narcissa Hawkins; 1850 Census Hart. Born Halifax VA.
James A Hodges (1830-?) - note multiple James
Williamson Wilde "Wildy" Hodges (1832-1883)
Possible but unlikely children:
Susan (Hodges) Drury (1818-1905; FS K862-W4P) is unlikely to be their daughter. All Census records state that she was born about 1818 in KY; Frederick and Mary remained in VA until 1837. However, she does have KS and Macoupin Co IL connections.
