Research Notes

Birth is estimated from birth of father in 1917.

For Isham Hodges' wife, Nancy Hill, Bob has a Family Finder connection to someone who is a descendant of the Hill family from Franklin County, which may support the unsourced Nancy Hill being Isham's wife.

Pending DNA info update, here is the data:

Hi Bob Check out Mary Currier you are noted as a DNA hit. I have been in charge of her however I don't know why my DNA did not show up. Maybe it is wrong and I am not in her line? Jean Bagley

I ran the one to one search on GEDMatch, and it says we have no autosomal DNA in common. But as you know, because DNA is passed in blocks, a-DNA can fade out after enough generations. Henry Bagley (1730-1796) would be my 5xGGF and his father Henry Bagley (1711-1776) would be my 6xGGF.

I should also add that some of the connections in my Bagley branch of the tree are a little shaky as far as documentation. OTOH, the Sargents, Bagleys, and Perkins were pretty thoroughly intermarried, and my grandfather was born a Bagley.

The other anomaly is that Henry Bagley (1730-1796) son of Mary Currier, which is my line, appears to have been illegitimate, and thus our connection is through his father, Henry Bagley, and his wife Anna (most genealogies say Winthrop, but I have not found any proof of that -- it may just be an inference from the name of their son Winthrop Bagley).

So at least according to your tree, you don't have the Currier connection, but still we should have a Bagley connection (and be sixth cousins, once removed).
