Gloria H. Smith - GUYTON - Gloria H. Smith, 60, died August 19, 2007 at her home. The Screven County native was a member of Berea Southern Methodist Church, where she was in the W.M.S. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russie L. Smith, Jr. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Ken Kennedy of Brunswick; son, Russie Lee Smith, III of Effingham County; sister, Jeanette Evans of Sylvania; mother-in-law, Alice Smith of Effingham County; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in the funeral home. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in the funeral home chapel. Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens.
