NANCY EUNICE GRUBBS, 71, of Eagle Lake died Sunday. Born in Lake City, she came to the area from there in 1923. She was a retired ward secretary with 18 years at Polk General Hospital in Bartow. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake. She is survived by two stepdaughters, Jackie Loehr of Eagle Lake and Irene Caporoso of Lake Wales; two stepsons, J.E. and N.L. Grubbs, both of Eagle Lake; a sister, Evelyn Douberly of Hollywood; a brother, O.D. Hodges of Eagle Lake; and a grandchild. Ott-Laughlln Funeral Home, Winter Haven, is in charge of arrangements.
