Edmund Hodgkinson, baker of Ashover, wrote a will on 17 November 1746, mentioning his wife Anne, sons Edmund Hodgkinson and Joseph Hodgkinson and daughters Elizabeth Milnes and Anne Bower. The will was proved at Chesterfield on 28 April 1748 by his widow Anne.[3]
