Biography
William Hodgkinson, with his brother James, was executor of the will of his father James Hodgkinson, farmer of Petthills, Kniveton, Derbyshire, but formerly of Osmaston, Derbyshire, in 1804.[1]
William married Hannah Waterfall on 17 October 1808 in Kniveton, Derbyshire, England.[2][3]
William Hodgkinson, farmer of Kniveton, was bondsman for the marriage licence of Joseph Hodgkinson, bachelor, baker of Macclesfield, and Elizabeth Hemsworth, widow, on 13 February 1809 in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England. [4][5]
In the 1841 census William was in Wall Lands, Brassington, Derbyshire, England.[6]
William died on 1 August 1845 in Brassington, Derbyshire, and his estate passed probate on 14 October 1845 in Derby, Derbyshire, England.[7][8]
William was buried on 4 August 1845 in Osmaston by Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England.[9]
