Mary Eleanor Hodgson was born in 1847 in Aspatria, Cumberland to Richard Hodgson and [[Richardson-19941|Eleanor (Richardson) Hodgson]. [1]
Mary was 34 years old when she married George Bannerman Allan Grant on the 5 April 1881 at 92 Cecil Street, Emerald Hill. [2][3]
Her second marriage was to James Frew in 1886. [4]
Mary died at her home in Spring Vale on the 5 April 1902. [5][6]
Her funeral was held on the 7 April, when she was buried in the Springvale Cemetery. [7] Her grave is in the Church of England, Compartment A, Section 21, Grave 32. [8]
