Biography

Frances Hodgson, was the daughter of Sir Thomas Hodgson, of Bramwith Hall, in Barnaby Dun, Yorkshire, and his first wife, whose name is unknown. Frances is described as aged 54 when she died in 1732 and must have been born about 1678.[1]

She married firstly circa 1697, as his second wife, Sir Thomas Travell, of Jermyn Street, Westminster, Middlesex. and Milborne Wick, Somerset, Member of Parliament for Milborne Port 1690-1715.
