John was born in 1734. His death date and location is unknown although there are records of children being born in Lancaster County, Penn. so it is likely that he died there.
Research Notes
This John Hoffman is not to be confused with one whom a membership application was filed with the Sons of the American Revolution in Jan 1919. That John Hoffman was born in 1732 in Schoharie, New York rather than Lancaster, Pennsylvania and his wife's maiden name was Dils rather than Nuescheler. This John Hoffman also died in Lebanon, New Jersey.
