I noticed you uploaded or plan to upload a GEDCOM. Our process here is a little different than what you might find on other sites because of our goal of growing one worldwide tree with a single profile for each individual. Here's two links :

TIP: If your ancestor was born over two hundred years ago, there's a very good chance she/he already has a profile on wikitree. Before creating a new profile, use the "search function" up on top to see if your ancestor is already here.
