Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Baumhardt, 71, were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Saint Boniface Catholic Church in Scotland. The Rev. Cletus Post offered the funeral Mass assisted by Rev. Harry Fisher of Sacred Heart Parish in Wichita Falls. Burial was in Saint Boniface Cemetery. Rosaries were said Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Baumhardt, a long time resident of Scotland died Thursday in a Wichita Falls hospital. She had resided in Wichita Falls the past 12 years where she was employed by the Bethania Hospital. She was a member of the Scotland Christian Mothers Society. She was born May 27, 1900, in Red Rock. Her husband, August preceded her in death in 1939. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Herman Frerich of Scotland and Mrs. Ed Schroeder of Wichita Falls; two sons, August and James, both of Wichita Falls; five sisters, Mrs. W. A. Morath of Scotland, Mrs. Emma Meyer of Vernon, Mrs. Alma Scheffe of Windthorst, Mrs. Ann Bernathy of Burkburnett and Mrs. Charles Ingram of Denison, 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jim Hoffman, Lloyd Scheffe, Richard Hoffman, George Morath, John Ingram and Wilfred Baumhardt. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, Arthur and Donnie Frerich and Dowayne and Glenn Schroeder. Servers were James and Jeff Hoffman and David Jackson was lector.
