Looking for info on the silvo carr or Silvia zupan family. It is my husband's grandparents and cannot find any ancestor info on this family. His mothers name was Mary Margaret carr they are from Yugoslavia originally

Silver carr was a fisherman who had 3 ships and went out with crew one day and was considered lost at sea or his ships were pirated by Russians or lost at sea from Vancouver. Don't know when they arrived in Canada from Yugoslavia. Mary has passed and was trying for finding her roots. Mary belonged in Eastern star for years in Latham, New York where her and husband earl eaton bender lived till he died and she moved to Washington state before she past away.
