Biography
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, while Norman was in the Air Force. Moved to the family home in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Lived there until moving to Anaheim, California, USA and then purchasing a home in Diamond Bar, California, USA. Attended school at Westmont Elementary (Pomona, California) then Diamond Springs Elementary (Diamond Bar, California). Junior High at Marshall Jr High and Fremont Jr High (both in Pomona). Graduated from Ganesha High School in Pomona. Attended college at Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, Washington. Met Allen Meeds while at college and married. Returned to California for about 10 years. Worked at Buffums Dept Store (owned by the Buffum family of California), a Nursing Home and then at Stoody Company. Then Al was transferred to the greater Tacoma/Seattle area of Washington. Moved to Federal Way and have been there since. Worked at Highline United Methodist Church, Renton United Methodist Church, Sunrise United Methodist Church and for the Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Methodist Church. Retired in 2009.
