Biography
1897 Alexander Stefen Hoffman was born 14 Oct 1897 in Shawano County, Wisconsin, USA.[1][2] Alexander's birth year may be in dispute. His US WWI draft registration gives the birth year as 1898.[3]
1900 By 1900 three-year-old Alexander was living in Herman, Shawano County, Wisconsin, USA with his parents and siblings on his father's farm. The Hoffman household comprised:
1930 Shortly after the 1920 US Census Alexander married his wife, Selma, and by 1930 Alexander was working his own general farm in Herman, Shawano County, Wisconsin, USA. The couple had three children:
1940 Although living nearby his farming brother Peter Hoffman, Alex had moved into trucking livestock for a living by 1940. His wife seems to have been maintaining the farm.
1964 Alexander Stefen Hoffman died 29 Apr 1964.[9] He was buried in Rossevelt Cemetery, Lyndhurst, Shawano County, Wisconsin, USA.[2]
