Biography
Anthony Hogeland was born in 1797 in Kentucky, United States, son of Abraham Hogeland and Catherine Powell.
He had four daughters with an unknown wife:
- Mary Ann "Polly" (1817–1859)
- Catherine (1820–)
- Thurza H (1823–1859)
- Elizabeth (1826–)
He was living in Lincoln County, Tennessee in 1820. [1] By 1823 he had moved on to Blount County, Alabama where Thurza and Elizabeth were born, and his first wife died.
He then married Nancy Catherine Wigginton on January 31, 1828, in Blount, Alabama. [2] [3] and they had 12 children together:

- William Myers (1831–1880)
- Abram "Abraham" (1834–1880)
- Thomas (1836–1922)
- James Anthony (1837–)
- Martin V (1839–)
- Caroline (1841–)
- Eliza Clementine (1843–1929)
- John W. (1845–)
- Sarah A (1847–1870)
- Floyd David (1852–1908)
- Isabella "Mary Belle" (1856–1929)
In 1830 the family was in Blount, Alabama [4] and then moved on to Itawamba County, Mississippi around 1839. [5] [6] They were living in Missouri Township, Hempstead County, Arkansas in 1860. [7]
He died sometime after 1860, probably in Arkansas. His burial location is unknown. [8]

I don't think this profile is attached to the right parents. His DOB is way off from the rest of the family. Mother was deceased before his birth.
