He then married Nancy Catherine Wigginton on January 31, 1828, in Blount, Alabama.

In 1830 the family was in Blount, Alabama

and then moved on to Itawamba County, Mississippi around 1839.

They were living in Missouri Township, Hempstead County, Arkansas in 1860.

He died sometime after 1860, probably in Arkansas. His burial location is unknown.
