James Kingsbury & Anne Francis of Boxford, Suffolk, England definitely had a son James who was alive and had at least 3 children in 1622 based on the will of his father.[1] Whether he had any connection with the Kingsbury men who emigrated from England to Massachusetts Bay Colony with Winthrop's fleet in 1630 is unknown.
Joah Hogge married James Kingsbury (son of James) 7 Feb 1613/14 at Boxford.[1] pg 34 as this would leave time to have at least 3 children by 1622.
His father’s will of 9 Apr 1622 bequeathed:
To sonne James Kingsberie some cattle, and also some corn.
To James Kingsberie, my grandchild, two ewes,
and to Anne the daughter of my sonne James, one ewe,
and to Bridget, daughter of the said James, my said son, one ewe.
Joane's death date is not yet researched.
