Maren Hog was born on 03 January 1788 at Old Kirk in the parish of Gladsmuir in the county of East Lothoan in Scotland. She was baptised on 13 January 1788 by the Revd. Mr Cowan with witnesses William Ross & William Hogg (father's elder brother?). [1]
