Biography
Rebecca Ann Hogshead was born on 5 Feb 1757 in Augusta, Virginia to parents David Hogshead and Margaret Gilkeson. She married Maj. James T Bratton on 16 May 1774 in Virginia. Children: Susannah Elizabeth, Robert, David, Mary Polly, Margaret (Peggy), William R, Nancy Agnes, Andrew Sitlington, Lewis. She died on 4 Jan 1834 in Bath, Virginia.
