Mr. Hoke was born September 14, 1933 in Buffalo, Wyoming. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. George was a former Miner who loved prospecting and the Outdoors. He loved to read especially American History. He also loved crafts having made grandfather clocks and hand thrown pottery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Hettie Hoke and a sister, Ann Pietrayga. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Maria Cordova Hoke. Daughter, April Batey. Sons, George, Juan Carlos, and Robert Hoke. Sister, Alice Bogard. Brother, Fred Hoke. Also surviving are his 10 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. A memorial Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am on Friday December 9, followed by a Mass at 10:00 am at St. Luke's Catholic Church with Father Gilbert Malu officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Brown Page Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
