Biography

Joan married Loughan "Jack" Borowski on 3 April 1948 in Franklin County.[1]

Joan died 9 September 2008.[2] Burial was at Sunset Cemetery.[3]

Joan "Jo" DeLong, age 78, of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at Kobacker House. She was preceded in death by her husbands Marion DeLong and Jack Borowski and granddaughter Asha. Jo was the manager of Reynold's Hardware of Hilliard for many years. She was a member of the Hilliard American Legion and Hilliard VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her loving children, Jack (Michele) Borowski of Hilliard, Patsy Whited of Hilliard, Cindy Salzgaber of Delaware and Jim (Patty) Borowski of Galloway; sister, Jean Johnson of Columbus; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Danny Vanscoy officiating. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.[4]
