Biography

William and Hopestill Holbrook had the following children. (Note: First three are only named in the will, and do not appear in the Uxbridge Vital records. They are named first in the will so its assumed that they were born first, and in Mendon, prior to the formation of Uxbridge).

• Silence b. ca 1723 m. Timothy McNamarrah
• Mary b. ca 1725 m. Josiah Brown
• Isaac b. ca 1727 m Mary Armstrong. Died in military service in Kinderhood, NY prior to the baptism of his daughter Silence May 14, 1757

Isaac married Mary (Armstrong) Holbrook (abt.1730-abt.1760) on 28 October 1750, in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.^[1]

They had the following children:

1. Seth, b. 24 Feb 1752^[2]
2. Silence, b. 21 Nov 1756^[3]

Isaac died in 1756, and his probate case 30000 was dated January 1757. His widow Mary asked that Samuel Read Jr. be made administrator.^[4]
