Biography
Charles was born in 1844. He was the son of Homer Holcomb and Ellen Foster.
Charles F. Holcomb was a Civil War Veteran.
Enlisted in Company F, Ohio 78th Infantry Regiment on 29 Aug 1862. Rank: Private.
Mustered out on 30 May 1865 at Washington, DC.
Occupation: Farmer.
He married Elizabeth Selina Bainter (1847–1882). They had a daughter:
Louella Holcomb (1868–1928).
He married 2nd Louiza Jane Waters (1858–1941).
He passed away in 1934. Buried: Otsego Memorial Cemetery.
