Biography

Josiah was born in 1743 in Simsbury, Connecticut.^[1]

He married Dorcas Smith 1765 in Simsbury^[2] where his children were born. He removed to Stephentown, New York before 1790, ^[3] and remained there^[4][5] until his death in 1827.^[6]
