Sgt. Benajah Holcomb served with 18th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

Biography

Benajah was born in 1737, the son of Joshua Holcomb (1697–1772) and Mary Griffin (1699–1781).

Benajah Holcomb was a Veteran of the Revolutionary War. Regiment: 18th Regiment of Militia (Commanded by Jonathan Pettibone). Captain Hezekiah Holcomb's Company, from August 26 to September 25, 1776, serving in New York.

He married Lydia Forward (1746–1824). They had the following children:
