Biography
Arthur Holden was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Arthur was born in 1864, the son of John Holden and Ann Linfoot. [1]
In 1885, Arthur Holden married Catherine McCarthy.[2]
He passed away in 1911, aged 47. [3]
Obituary: Mr. Arthur Holden, of Elphinstone, died in the Castlemaine Hospital on Sunday. A week ago he was operated on for hydatids. The operation was successfully performed, but he gradually sank and died, as stated. He was a married man, and was much respected.[4]
