Hazel Irene Holden was born on January 26, 1890 in Sandwich East Township, Essex, Ontario, Canada, daughter of Willard Barr Holden (1861–1924) and Jane Thrasher (~1864–1949).[1]

In 1901, Irene (11) Nolden was in the household of Willard in Essex (north/nord), Ontario. [2]

Irene (24) married Glen Thomas Webster (25) (born on January 22, 1889 in Sandwich East Township; son of John Webster and Mary (Neil) Webster) on November 21, 1914 in Windsor, Essex.[3] Their children were:

Irene died on July 21, 1985 in Windsor, Essex, aged 95. She was buried in Saint Stephen's Anglican Church Cemetery, Oldcastle, Essex County, Ontario.[5]

WEBSTER--H. Irene (Holden), 95 years, July 21,1985 at Grace Hospital, late of Oldcastle. Beloved wife of the late Glenn (1980). Dear mother of Mrs. Joseph Mencel (Mary), Amherstburg and Max J., of Brantford; Mrs. J. D. Hedley (Shirley), Winnipeg, Man.; Dr. Neil H. Webster, Burlington and Mrs. S. K. Campbell (Glenna), Oldcastle; Garnet (1951). 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Clara McKee, Harper Woods, Mich. Resting at the Stewart L. Kennedy Funeral Hope, 128 Talbot St. N., Essex after 7 p.m. Monday. Funeral service Wednesday, July 24 at St. Stephen's Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment Church Cemetery. Donations to Redeemer Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
