Biography

James McKendry Holder was born on 18 December 1897 in Erin, Houston County, Tennessee, United States. He died on 09 April 1964 in Miami, Dade County, Florida, United States and is buried in Miami. When he was 27, He married Frances Grace Delay, a widow with two children, on 27 October 1925 at White Temple Methodist Church in Miami, Florida, United States. James and Grace had no children. He and Grace divorced in 1929 in Miami, Florida. I have not been able to document if they remarried, but they were together throughout my childhood.
