Maria was born in 1853 in Georgia to Jefferson and Elizabeth Holder. She apparently never married. The family was living in Bainbridge in Decatur County, Georgia, in 1860[1], and in 1870.[2]
Maria was living with her parents in 1880 but they had moved to Pine Hill, Decatur County, Georgia.[3]
By 1900, she was living in her brother's household in Pine Hill.[4]
She passed away in 1907. Burial was in the Oak City Cemetery, Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia.[5]
