Ann HOLLAND was born on 28 September 1803 in Alton, Hampshire, her father, Joseph, was 39, and her mother, Ann, was 32. She married James Whiting on 12 November 1824 in her hometown of Alton Hampshire.They Immigrated to Nelson New Zealand on the Vessel Inchman in May 1856. They had seven children in 12 years. She died in Nelson on 7 March 1884 having lived a long life of 80 years.
