Rhoda Holland born on 22 December 1877 in Griffydam, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom was the daughter of William Holland (born Thringstone) and Louisa Haywood (born in Griffydam). [1][2][3]

In 1891 she was a servant to Frederick W Cox in Worthington, Leicestershire. [5]

Rhoda Holland was married to Freeman William Platts on 27th February 1897 in Breedon on the Hill, Shardlow district, Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom. [6][7][8]

In 1901, Freeman (25, a coal miner hewer born Peggs Green, Leicestershire), Rhoda (23) and three sons, James W (3), Freeman R (2) and Alonza C (11 months) were living in Swannington Common, Swannington, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom. [9]

Freeman and Rhoda had a son, Benjamin Arthur, registered in the first quarter of 1904. He died in 1905 Q1 at 12 months of age.

In 1911, Freeman Wm. Platts (35, a coal miner hewer), his wife Rhoda (33), five sons, James Wm. (13), Freeman Richard (12), Alonza Charles (10), Walter Joseph (9) and Bramley (4) and twin month-old daughters, Evangeline Norah and Louise Grace were living in a 5 room house at 55 Forest Road, Hugglescote, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom. The couple had been married 14 years and had had eight children, seven of whom were still living. [12]

Rhoda Platts died in 1958 in Coalville, Leicestershire, age 80 years and was buried on 16th October 1958 in Hugglescote, Leicestershire. [13][14]
