- Obituary Mae Bell York, 91, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at St. Barnabas, Siskin Hospital.
She was born May 4, 1925, daughter of Arnold and Ninnie Bell Holland. She was a long time member of Whiteside Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Lawrence D. York, in 1989; and her granddaughter, Candace Moore.
She is survived by her two sons, Lawrence L. York of Ringgold, GA and Larry D. York of Chicago, IL.; her daughter, Sharon A. Morgan of Atlanta, GA.; her brother, Orville Holland of East Ridge, TN: six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, Charles and Tony Holland; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
