Richard is a Wiki Genealogy Volunteer following these tags:
My fifth great grandmother on my Hollenbeck branch was Debora Decker of New Netherland.
Debora descends from Jan Gerritsen Decker.
My Y-DNA haplogroup, confirmed with a 111 marker test and a SNP Pack, is R-S19342. My GEDmatch kit number is M434974.
My wife, who is not currently active in genealogy, descends from the first peoples of Mexico. My interest in the "first peoples" project is for her.
I am interested in encouraging my fellow GEDmatches to join up at WikiTree and my fellow DNA-tested cousins to sign-up at GEDmatch. GEDCOM ID: 3765535; GEDmatch kit #M434974
Many of my ancestors, such as Maria (Egelkraut) Neidhardt, were from Germany.
Hulda (Hunsaker) Hollenbeck is my second great grandmother from Adair County, Missouri. She descends from Hartman Hunsaker of Switzerland.
23andMe tells me I am 39.4% British and Irish. says I'm 23% Irish. My most recent fully Irish ancestor is William Francis McCarty whose parents came from Youghal, County Cork, Ireland in the early 19th century. Most of my more distant Irish ancestors are Scots-Irish in Northern Ireland.
Being US-born with northwestern European ancestry, I am not trying to call myself "Latin American." My wife is nearly 100% indigenous Mexican and my daughter scores 47% Native American at AncestryDNA (she didn't get it from me). I suppose I could categorize myself as an "honorary Latin American."
From time to time I find I am either related to somebody who is notable or I would like to honor somebody I know is notable. Since I use the "notables" tag in these profiles, I thought I ought to join the project.
Many of my ancestors were Palatine Immigrants.
Many of my paternal grandmother's ancestors were Quakers from Pennsylvania --> North Carolina. Some migrated west into Indiana.
My fourth paternal great grandmother, Rachel (Van Wormer) Hallenbeck, descended from the Quick family of New Netherland
I descend from Peter J. Stice (1787 - 1877) born in Rutherford County, North Carolina and migrated to Washougal, Clarke County, Washington, USA.
My 4th geat grandmother was Rachel Van Wormer Hallenbeck

Thanks fro the message on Nickell-178. The sole information I had on that page was from Ancestry, so any of it could be wrong. It appears the date is most likely wrong. Feel free to male any changes or suggestions.

Hi Richard!

Happy to see you re still active at WT as you re a great add!

I like to invite you for the next Annual Special Liberation Challenge of the DRP. Just hoping you have time to join.

Hey Hello!

How do you pass on freedom?

The DRP organizes our Annual Liberation Day Challenge again. Please join us!

Challenges are mainly meant to get to know each other better and to have fun with each other.

Again this year, we try again to give great resistance heroes a nice profile on WT, because they deserve it, also to provide them with ancestors and we also try to connect them to "our" WT.

Would you like to help? You are very welcome !

The Dutch Roots Challenge Project.

On that page, we have a member sticker and category that you can add to your own profile and a tag for following us on G2G.

Here are the Portal pages we need some help with. We would ask that you send a Trusted List request for the portals you wish to work on or are interested in.

Thanks for joining and hope to see or hear from you soon :-)

Hi Richard,

I was wondering if perhaps you would be interested to work on the Portal World-The Netherlands with Melissa and Bill and hopefully more members ? I was thinking maybe we can make it a sub Project of the Dutch Roots Project, where you all can add or work on more specific things related to the Netherlands you would like to see added there or work on.

If you are interested just add your name to the list and let me know, or you can of course contact Melissa or Bill directly.

Greets from the Netherlands,

Bea :)
